I am overwhelmed by the opportunity to serve our Lord and you as Director of Choirs. I have been a Christian since age 12 when Jesus came into my heart at the Hooverson Heights Church of Christ in Follansbee, WV. I look forward to serving Him at Christ church and spreading His word through words and music.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education in 1987 from West Liberty State College followed by my Master of Music (Conducting) from Kent State University where I served as a graduate assistant to Dr. C.M. Shearer. I have been a High School music teacher in Ohio for 36 years, occasionally serving as an adjunct instructor at Kent State University and visiting lecturer at Bethany College. I live with my wife Joy in New Alexandria, Ohio. My son Isaac and daughter Emily are grown and both live in Warwood. I enjoy scroll sawing, reading, and making meaningful music with my friends.
The most important thing to know about me is that I love Jesus.
