In the world of social media—Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Twitter, especially—we know how sticky things get when we “unfollow” or when others “unfollow” us.
Unfollowing can be fickle can’t it? Fear-filled disciples, locked behind closed doors, obviously knew nothing about social media, but if they had a Twitter account would have basically unfollowed Jesus.
But thank God for them and for us that a Risen Christ finds us in those locked up spaces of life to still make friend requests.
In this second week of Easter, join Rev. Jake Steele and CUMC as they revisit the Gospel of John and affirm that, because of Jesus we’re never unfollowed.
May the Lord richly bless you in your hearing and receiving.
John 20: 19-31
