Thomas (who was also called the Twin) one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.

There are not many things more miserable than discovering that you’ve missed out on some of life’s most momentous and meaningful moments.  That’s why I feel feel so terrible for Thomas.

Have you ever been there?  Have you ever been at a place in life where others are celebrating the very thing you’re anticipating for yourself?  It’s difficult, especially in moments of desperation to deal with the doubts that invariably crop up.

However, Thomas teaches us important lessons about trademarks that should be typical of a disciple.  In the second half of this two-part series, join Rev. Jake Steele and CUMC as they glean from this Gospel lesson.
