Behold: The Israelite people, caught in between imprisonment and promise. They were freed people, but they weren’t without fear. There was a deep need: They were without water in a dry place and they were thirsty. It was an unusual time; it was an uncertain time; it was an unnerving time. They were asking whether the Lord was among them or not. Should it be such a surprise that what we see THEN is kind of what we’re experiencing NOW?
Join Rev. Jake Steele and CUMC and they learn that our hard places are the same…but so is the Rock in our hard places. In these uncertain days, may the Lord richly bless you in the hearing and receiving of this word.
