We’re a people of instant gratification. We want to get somewhere without having to go somewhere. We want to cut weight without having to work to cut the weight. We want to get to a certain level of strength without having to stretch for it. However, stretching signals a start to something significant. Stretching helps us move, and what’s true in the physical is also true in the spiritual.
Tune in with Rev. Jake Steele and CUMC for the third week of a three-week sermon series as we visit the gospel of John and see “A Greater Provision” by virtue of a “Stretch”.
John 6; 1-15
