Sold Out of…or Sold Out for?

Being sold out has a double meaning:  There’s a side of the expression that speaks of scarcity, of having nothing to offer and there’s another side that is characterized by an attitude that completely buys in, wholly commits or is sold out for one ambition or aim.

In the economy of our commitments, what does the distribution of our time, talents, treasures and testimonies as stewards say about our being on the right side of “Sold Out?”  When it comes to the Gospel and the kingdom of God are we sold out of or sold out for?  Only time, talents and treasures will tell.

Join Rev. Jake Steele and CUMC as they explore the deep impact just one vessel can make in the greater narrative of God’s power and glory.  As this text is visited, may God richly bless you in the hearing and receiving of God’s word.
