Shelter, Water, Food…and a Fire

…it’s what survivalists say is essential if one is to not only bear the elements of desolate, challenging situations, but are necessary if one has any thoughts about thriving there as well.  If anybody wants to ensure that they not only survive but thrive, the instruction is oftentimes the same:  “Whatever you do, especially in places where light is scarce, don’t forfeit your flame.  Don’t let your fire go out…because the kind of light you have determines the kind of life you have.

Such is the challenge for a lot of channels of our lives:  Don’t let your fire go out!  Your fire is only as good as whatever fuels it.  

 

So, the question begs:  Where is your fire and what is your fuel?
