The Psalms talk about God providing food…”in due season.”

Oftentimes, in our high-paced, fast food, microwave society, it seems more palatable to pray for daily bread…but it’s certainly less appetizing to consider the Lord’s provision coming in due season. Those three words are frightening to a person of faith residing in a land of digital downloads, high-speed internet, text messages, Keurig K-cups and FaceTime. In an On-Demand world where everything is instant, how do we reconcile faith in a God who specializes in slow-cooked?

Join Rev. Jake Steele and CUMC as they dig into this powerful word from the Psalms.  May the Lord richly bless you in your hearing and receiving. Sorry for the blip in sound quality.  We’ve fixed it since this recording!

Psalm 145: 10-20
