There are some seasons in life where the Lord will make you sit. Most often, this occurs during times of instability and uncertainty. It’s hard to heed the Lord’s instruction and sit down when life seems messed up, but to sit down is not to give up. Finding the strength to sit when things get rough isn’t a reflection of our competence but our confidence in the One who can feed us in less than favorable conditions.
Join Rev. Jake Steele and CUMC as we examine the gospel of John and learn to heed his words and “Have a Seat”.
John 6: 1-15
