Gravity:  It’s one object’s pull on another…

In a scientific sense, gravity is an ultimate good.  It keeps our world in place. It provides stability and predictability to an existence that would otherwise be pretty chaotic.  Yet, if one wants to look at life from another level defying gravity is something that must be done…and there’s nothing more difficult or delightful.

What’s true in a physical sense also applies in the spiritual.  Believe it or not, there are other cultural pulls that keep us confined. As disciples of Jesus and stewards of the things God has given us, if we want to see life from another level and go deeper into new dimensions of faith, then we must be bold enough to break free from the gravitational pulls that pin us.
