Students in 6th grade – 12 grade

Do you have a child or grandchild that wishes to “confirm” their baptismal vows and thus become a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Church as a whole?

CUMC is offering Youth Confirmation Classes for those in 6th to 12th grade beginning in late February to Pentecost in early May. The classes will be held at CUMC Sunday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Over the course of these weeks, youth will learn what it means to live a Christ-led life. More specifically to CUMC, how to grow richer in spirit, deeper in discipleship, warmer in fellowship, and broader in mission and service to the world for the sake of Jesus Christ.

All youth must be registered! To accommodate planning, the deadline for registration is Sunday, January 16th, 2023. A sign-up sheet is located on the bulletin board in the Narthex at the church or you can register digitally below.

Confirmation Mentors are needed for the Confirmation Class of 2023. If you would like to consider being a mentor to a confirmand, please text Cheryl Sprague, Christian Formation Chair, at cherylsprague012@gmail.com or place your name and text number on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex. This information is needed by Sunday, January 29, 2023, to enable Pastor Jake to move forward with the planning.
