As Jesus showed his hands to the disciples, Thomas was late. He lost his opportunity to see the holes there, and so a hole was left in his story.
How many of us have felt like Thomas, missing out because we were not there? Missing out makes life feel messed up.
But let Thomas’ tardiness teaches us a lesson: Although we may not get the whole story from God at times, it does not mean we will not get it in time.
