Hi Kids!
Today we’re going to hear a story about a brave woman who once saved her people. This woman’s name was Esther, and she was the queen of Persia. Esther was also a Jew who are people part of God’s family. During Esther’s queenship, her people, the Jews, were threatened. Esther heard that someone wanted to harm them. God became angry, so He crafted a plan for Esther to help save her people. Watch the story below by Crossroads Kids’ Club to learn more.
Esther must have been terrified of what would happen to her and her people. She was afraid that if she confessed to King Xerxes she was a Jew, her life may end sooner rather than later. However, Esther prayed to God and trusted Him to lead her in the right direction. God planned to give Esther courage so that she can speak to the king and save her people. In every story we hear, we see that God uses people to carry out His plans for the world, and He always gives courage to those who trust in Him during times of difficulty and uncertainty. God even has a plan for you! As long as you trust in God, He will give you the courage to do what is right.
