We all live with labels, and labels can last a lifetime. Being raised in poverty must mean a lack of education; having a family history of addiction must mean a lack of sobriety; experiencing divorce must mean unhappiness; and so on. Labels impose limits on our perceptions and abilities. In our minds, labels dictate our way of life. However, discipleship has no limits, and the Lord is always deeper than our labels.

Join Rev. Jake Steele and CUMC as we examine the gospel of Mark and learn that the good news of the Lord hits “A Little Too Close To Home”.
