Jesus once said, “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which someone found and hid; then in his joy, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field” (Matt 14:44). This piece of scripture reveals a clue to the kingdom of heaven. No, not the “hidden treasure” but the sacrifice; “he goes and sells all he has.” For us to gain something of God, we must give something of ourselves. Kingdom keys are not about stumbling upon treasure but about the things we sacrifice to gain that treasure.
