Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
For the past several months, streaming of CUMC’s Sunday services were available at multiple times throughout the day; 9:45 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 7:00 p.m. Multiple streams were put in place so that there was more opportunity for people to tune into the service at a time that would better suit them. Once Sunday ended and the work-week began, the recorded service of the previous Sunday became available to view on CUMC’s website under the “Sermons” page, on Facebook, and on Youtube.
However, there was just a few problems with this. The first is, if you may have noticed, the 9:45 a.m. service is indeed streamed LIVE, but the 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. streams are merely a recording of the 9:45. a.m. service. In all technicality, the two later streams were not actually LIVE streams. The second is, although multiple stream times made viewing of Sunday services better, some would still miss the streams and would have to wait another day or two to view the service.
After consideration, CUMC has decided to no longer stream Sunday services at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Instead, the recording of the 9:45 a.m. service will be available for leisurely viewing on our streaming page by 12:00 p.m. every Sunday. The 9:45 a.m. service will still be streamed LIVE as always.
Thank you for your understanding and for tuning in with Rev. Jake Steele and CUMC on Sunday’s. CUMC’s main goal is the proliferate the message of the gospel not just inside the church walls but out to the community and beyond.
God Bless
