Hello Brothers and Sisters of Christ United Methodist Church,
We are currently in the process of updating our church directory. We published our last directory in 2016 in which a lot of change has occurred over the past 4 years. It is now time to do an update to reflect all that has been happening within and outside the church. Our goal with having a church directory is to keep people of the church connected with one another and to be aware of all the various charities and activities the church participates in for our community. We will be making copies of the directory to give to those who would like one.
This year, we have decided to take a different approach with the new directory. We wish to give the directory a more family-oriented look to it rather than a formal one. We are encouraging those who wish to be in the directory to send in their favorite pictures of either themselves or their family.
Other than names and pictures, the new directory will feature all the various committees, church activities, charities and organizations the church partners with. With this inclusion, we hope to give people a sense of what Christ United Methodist Church is about and all the ways to serve in the church and the community for those that are interested. We would also like to include church activity pictures and encourage anyone who has participated in any recent activities and have taken pictures, to send them in as well.
Since we’ve all been sheltered at home and have not been able to come to church, the deadline for submitting your information including photos for the directory has been extended to June 15th. We were offering photos to be taken at the church but due to safety concerns, this will no longer be available. Please send what photos you have by email or mail to the church. Information on how to send photos via email or mail is below. Please keep in mind the directory isn’t just for members of the church but for anyone who wants to be a part of the Christ UMC family and would like to be included.
If you choose to send in your favorite pictures for the directory, please send them to CUMCWheelingDirectory@gmail.com or mail in your pictures to the church at 1232 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003. If you choose to mail in your pictures, they will be returned to you via mail as soon as possible. Other than church activities, please include names of those in your pictures.
If you have not filled out a Connect Card previously, we are mailing out a Connect Form to addresses we have on file to fill out and send back in. If you do not receive a Connect Form or prefer an easier route, please fill out the digital form below or email CUMCWheelingDirectory@gmail.com and we will be happy to get your information.
