In this new sermon series, Rev. Jake Steele and CUMC will be canvassing three concepts of God that have the capacity to compromise a real relationship:
One has to do with the problem of protection. The other has to do with the problem of protection. This week has to do with the obstacles that surround provision and answered prayer.
Some folks feel that if God is great and God is good, then God “could.” If God “could” then God “should…” And we hope that God “would.” But if God doesn’t we assume God either “couldn’t,” “wouldn’t” or just doesn’t exist at all.
But perhaps this series will cause us to…think again.
