Hi Kids!

Today’s story is about how the early Christians worked together to solve a problem. One day in Jerusalem, the Twelve Apostles (early Christian teachers) heard complaints from the people of the city. The Twelve Apostles decided to gather all of the disciples to come up with a solution to the issues being raised so that everyone can be happy. Watch the story below to learn why and how the Twelve Apostles and the people of Jerusalem worked together.

Have you ever found it difficult to ask for help even when you knew you really needed it? Although we might want to do everything ourselves, sometimes we are better off with help from others. It’s OK to ask for help and to work together especially when it comes to spreading God’s love. We all are called to find ways to unite and act in love for one another. This story shows us how we can love one another by helping and serving each other. Church communities often work together as a way of showing love for others and for the world. It’s up to you to ask for help when needed and to offer your help in return.

For today’s activity, we are going to learn the best way to ask for help.
