Hi Kids!
Today we’re going to learn about sharing. Have you ever been told to share something of yours with someone else and found it difficult or unfair? Sharing is hard for kids and even adults. We often want to hold close to things we worked hard for or have been given. Sharing, however, is a good thing because it helps to build relationships between people. It was a common practice in the life of early people who were believers of God. These believers thought of themselves as one in heart and mind when they shared with each other. To share with someone is to show that you care for them. The best way to be kind to others and to make friends is through sharing. Watch the story below to learn more.
In today’s world, sharing everything we have is impossible, but we can find small ways to share in our daily lives. Sharing isn’t just about giving a physical object like a toy, food, or clothing; you can also share your love with others. One main thing Jesus shared with everyone he encountered was his love for them. Jesus helped so many people in so many ways by doing this. He made people feel cared for and respected. You would be surprised how the simple act of sharing your love affects the lives of people who are in need. As followers and believers of Christ, we are called to be like Jesus. One way to be like him is sharing what you have when you can with those in need.
For today’s activity, we’re going to make bracelets to help us remember the super power given to us by God to share with others.
