Hi Christ Kids,
Today we are going to be learning about the Holy Spirit. Have you heard of the Holy Spirit before? I’m sure you have. The Holy Spirit is what we are filled with when we are baptised. Before Jesus went to heaven to be with God, he told his disciples that all of his followers will be filled with the Holy Spirit when we are baptised. The Holy Spirit allows us to feel God within us and to go out in the world and do great things for Him just as Jesus did when he roamed the world performing miracles.
Although we may not be able to perform miracles like Jesus, we can still do great things in small ways. For example, spreading love and kindness by making friends with someone at school who may not have any friends, helping your parents with chores around the house, or helping your brother or sister do their homework. There are many ways in which we can use the Holy Spirit to not only better ourselves but those around us.
