Hi Christ Kids and Welcome Back!

Last week, we learned about Doubting Thomas. Thomas is one of Jesus’ 12 disciples who just could not believe Jesus had risen from death after He was crucified. Do you remember Thomas telling the other disciples, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe?” If you don’t remember or haven’t seen the video about Doubting Thomas from last week, you can still watch it below. 

As you learned in the video, Thomas was utterly in doubt as he needed to feel Jesus’ wounds on his hands and side to believe it was actually Him. We have a fun activity for you today to recreate Jesus’ wounded hands that Thomas had to feel. This link, DoubtingThomas_HandsCutOut provides a “cut-out” craft of a pair of hands that you can download and print. There are further instructions on the page describing what else you need to do for the cut-out. Color the hands and anything else to your liking. When you are finished, your cut-out should look a little similar to this:
